Hyperbaric | London

Hyperbaric was originally performed at Somerset House Studios, London, in February 2020 as part of the ‘Hyper Functional, Ultra Healthy’ Programme. A Lithuanian iteration was performed in Vilnius in October 2020 at the Artists’ Association Gallery, as part of the exhibition ‘Other Rooms’, which was co-curated by Leah Clements and Kotryna Markevičiūtė & Yates Norton from Rupert.

It is a performance that channels accounts from people who have spent prolonged periods of time in hospital, in which themes of care and consent, unchosen communities and the environments in which these are formed, arise.
